Rockhampton Plant Property

Located in Pink Lily, Rockhampton, we have been operating on the same Rockhampton plant property since 1973. We have the largest range of plants in Queensland and are also the most price competitive, meaning it will be difficult to find another nursery that stocks our range of plants for a similar price.

Based on the banks of the Fitzroy River, hence our name, we draw all our water from the river to quench our beautiful plants and keep them healthy for your purchases. In total, our property spans over 160 acres, with the retail nursery operating out of one 40-acre block. Within this 40-acre block we have 7 acres of bush where we have a range of plant houses with concrete floors and drainers so that our plants don’t sit in mud and remain lush and ready for purchase.

The Fitzroy Nurseries Difference

At Fitzroy Nurseries, we focus on quality and consistency and our property is only a reflection of this. We are proud to produce between 60-70% of our plants onsite, only outsourcing products when completely necessary. Our team do all of our preparational potting, including grafting and seed planting to ensure that we consistently product the best quality products that we possibly can. We source all of our citrus and avocado seeds from authorised Government agencies so that we can guarantee the quality of the fruit trees you purchase.

Finally, we have an extensive hygiene program that is backed by our NIASA accreditation on an annual basis. When it comes to your plant delivery, our team works hard to save freight charges for our clients through carefully maximising logistics.
